A part of the library
On the first floor, the
museum houses a library of the region.
Open to the public (please
ask the attendant), this room contains a large number of varied works on
the Pays de Retz - history, geography, geology, rural life, novels, old
language, specialised studies. There are also newspapers and numerous journals.
The library is constantly acquiring new material. A reading room enables
these publications to be studied on the spot, but under no circomstances
may they be borrowed.
